We just recently had a retreat for a few leaders. We held it at Prayer Mountain on the border of Missouri and Arkansas, here in the mountains. It was a wonderful and restful retreat, and I think every person that came was intensely changed by the Lord. For those who wanted to come early or stay later than the 3 days of the retreat, it was a lovely place to vacation, with the well-known vacation area of Branson, Missouri near by and so many outdoors things to do as well. 

 

Each of the 5 messages was prophetic revelation, with key prophetic actions for us to take to enter into what God was doing at this strategic season. Though I felt all of the teachings were special from the Lord (I was the teacher), in many ways the opening evening said the most. So I am going to share that teaching with you. Perhaps if time allows I will share more of the teachings later but I think this one is important to the body of Christ.

 

“I have seen the affliction of My people,” the Lord said, “and raised up Moseses.” Some are lesser Moseses and some higher-level Moseses, to set My people free and show them the truth.

 

My people are sheep following many deceiving truths, which taste good but cause harm. They have followed their own ways and their own desires, saying God wants us to prosper. But that means God was made “for” them and not that they were made for God. How could that be? What will happen to the sheep when the sheep rule the Shepherd, being taught to do so? How can He serve them as Master, when they have lessened His status to be their slave, to do their bidding by faith?

 

But when they will be His sheep, and not follow strange lies, and realize they are only His, owned by Him, that they should submit, even to the death. Then the Master Owner and Great Shepherd of the Sheep can and will serve them, heal them, and take good care of them, leading them to strategic and protected pastors. Every night they will rest in the sheepfolds of His Father’s house. You see how damaging to the sheep this doctrine that makes them the master of the Shepherd has been, so that they will be upset when He doesn’t do what they want. It is a great danger and a great deception.

 

Look and see, sheep bloated (full of self and the hot air of lies) are dying and blaming Me for not taking good care of them, but they have left My covenant pastor for their own ways. They left My path and My fields to walk in the wilderness. That was never My design. I have prepared everything they need but I will take them to it, they must obey and come with Me to what I have prepared for them.

 

Rescue the sheep in their perceptions, for the sheep I own completely, that obey regardless, follow Me and submit to Me, walking the hard trails to the high places for the reward of their obedience, are strong from the journey, protected and well fed. For I take care of My own but I do it My way. These sheep have learned to look beyond what they see and feel to what they believe.

 

There are many paths to the high places, they are full of pitfalls and devouring things, but My path is prepared, strategic and protected. It is not their choice of paths. Only I know the path that has been prepared for them and though difficult, it is safe. Because of the great deception of everything being for the sheep’s will and worldly pleasures, the enemy has many opportunities to test the sheep at cross roads of self preservation, I want, or I need, and often with I feel or I cannot reconcile this to a loving God. Then they choose the path of fleshly reasoning pushed by teachings and wonder why God did not meet them and protect them on ‘their’ pathway to their idols of things they want and need. Why are they idols? Not because of what they are but because of their position in authority over that believer. They have taken priority in that believer’s life more than God, which makes them idols.

 

But those who endure to the end and remain on My path, regardless of difficulty, will find many altars along the way to sacrifice more and more of their flesh, so they can walk with Me in heavenly places. Then their flesh will no longer tie them down to the anchor of their own desires. Then, finding the Lord’s desires they find it most wonderfully designed for their life. It is fulfilling and full of joy and value for them. But there are so a few.

 

Hear the word of the Lord to you, “I have led you to a road of sacrifice, the lane is labeled “To the Slaughter of the Lambs” and you have followed clinging to this truth, that in Christ only what dies can be resurrected and infused with the fullness of His life. Colossians 3:3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. (There are still pieces of our lives that didn’t die. We kept them for ourselves. They are not hidden in Christ and are easy for the enemy to attack.)

Only that which has been sacrificed to Him can be replaced with Him (Colossians 1:27b Christ in you, the hope of glory.) But see the place of slaughter ahead; the filter of the Blood of Jesus removes all death and destruction from you. Flesh allowed death and destruction. Death and Destruction can only cling to the flesh but the Blood will remove it. It will bring you to the other side of your pain, free from sin and death and all that flesh can hold of it.

 

Step through this slaughterhouse and be free, for the journey on the other side is different and only with Me. Death will not test you here because it cannot cling to you, though it may try. Knowing of the fullness of life you will now walk in, makes death’s attempts to cling to you ridiculous. You will see it simply fall aside. [For example many times the enemy threatens me with cancer, but I just laugh because I have no bitterness, hatred or unforgiveness for cancer to cling to. When all of our being is cleansed, there is nothing for death to cling to.]

 

Sheep on this side have given Me their wool, which stands for their value and I have anointed them all over with a thick anointing, that things cannot cling to. Sickness and trouble simply slide off because of the anointing.

 

The Eye of the Needle, the gate of the city that is so narrow that the camel’s pack and all valuables must be removed for the camel to enter it, then the camel gets on its knees and inches forward painfully, one inch at a time. We have to go through the Eye of the Needle. Here entering in means leaving all behind, even our promises and gifts, good things. The entering in to be with the Lord becomes more important that anything He has given us. Believing like Abraham, that even if you must slay your Isaac, God will resurrect it on the other side and bring your promises back to life. Hebrews 11:17-19 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said, "In Isaac your seed shall be called, concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

 

You have seen your promises die but only so that they could pass through the narrow gate of My torn flesh and be revived on the other side.  Hebrews 10:20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh.

 

Now let us pass through, for this slaughterhouse has confused you and made you wonder about My goodness. Is God good? Is He good to you? Your being will answer yes, no and maybe all at once, but because you have remained faithful, even to the loss of all, your dreams and desires removed by the knife of sacrifice, come set foot on this road and your perception “will” change and you “will” know that only what has once died can live here and only what has been sacrificed to the Lord can be resurrected.

 

But here newness of life begins; Newness of soul; Newness of Spirit. There is a Tollbooth to enter, this time I cannot pay the price for you. It will cost you all of your pain, suffering, loss and lack. Neither will it allow you to pass until you give it completely. Completely!!!

Pay the toll today by My grace, that enables you to do what you otherwise could never do. If it comes to mind give it. When the gate barrier shuts behind you, a cord tying you to your pain and your past will be severed, so you can continue with a new liberty to walk in Me.

 

The first thing you will encounter on this journey is a series of Mikvah’s [pools to ceremonially cleanse before entering the temple, to prepare for the King or to be in the holy presence of the Lord.] This is to wash away more and more of the old and after each of a series of Mikvah pools, a fresh anointing to prepare for the new life. It is the picture of Esther preparing for the king. Esther 2:12-13 Each young woman's turn came to go in to King Ahasuerus after she had completed twelve months' preparation, according to the regulations for the women, for thus were the days of their preparation apportioned: six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with perfumes and preparations for beautifying women. Thus prepared, each young woman went to the king.

 

Only those who allow themselves to be prepared will continue. So the process is similar to the parable of the sower explained in Matthew 13:19-23. Here we see the seed, some by the wayside, some on stony ground, some choked by weeds and cares, some on good ground but even that was 30, 60 or finally 100 fold, but there is a beyond the 100 fold with the Lord. That is what this journey is about; those who give all produce more.

 

In ancient times, when a lady married she was given personal servants to attend her in a very personal way. We see that in Genesis 29:24 and 29, when Laban gave maids as personal attendants to Rachel and Leah his daughters. Personal angels are assigned on the other side of the Mikvahs when the King receives us. This is very important to understand because they could not be given before and I wanted My children to enter into this personal healing, at a personal level, and receive personal attending angels that will take care of them personally and what pertains to their personal needs. It is the season to take care of personal things and this is how you enter into it.  Sacrifice.

 

Cleanse from what ever the Lord reveals to you, restore to the purified position you should have in the Lord and minister to the Lord from your heart continuously.  It is not prosperity but the blessings of those who belong to the King. It is much better than prosperity. Prosperity was a cheap counterfeit, using fleshly things that tied people to the earth so they could not follow into the life beyond the sacrifice. So they live with their things in the middle of the Valley of the Shadow of Death and will hear no other words, for this teaching holds them on lesser ground.

 

“Do you see a transfer of kingdoms, walking from one country and its dark ways to a heavenly kingdom where you can walk and abide with Me always, even now.” The Lord said. So Come. All of Abraham’s children were blessed but not all were children of promise, only those who continued in the Faith. Faith is not needed where there is nothing to endure or over come.

Genesis 25:1-6 Abraham again took a wife, and her name was Keturah. And she bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah…All these were the children of Keturah. And Abraham gave all that he had to Isaac. But Abraham gave gifts to the sons of the concubines which Abraham had; and while he was still living he sent them eastward, away from Isaac his son, to the country of the east.

 

We can make it to heaven and while here receive some gifts and some blessings; even prosperity or we can be the son of promise and receive all that our Father has for us. Isaac took a pathway of sacrifice and was restored with new life. He could receive all and so can we. Amen.

 

After this session the Lord had us walk through a Mikvah of His blood (we walked across a rug that we used to symbolize that) and in the process, as a sacrifice, we gave him all of our sufferings and pain. It was like a filter that filtered the pain away. Each of us waited until we felt ready and spoke quietly to the Lord, no one else knowing the transactions that were taking place in our heart before the Lord. I think each wept, as the Lord used the tears to flood the pain from us. And then we wept for relief and gratitude as the presence of the Lord filled the empty where the pain had been. It is important to fill the empty in such process. The Bible says demons go through dry places looking for houses (people) that have an empty space for them so to speak. Matthew 12:43-45. 

 

It was an intense and life changing retreat. This was just the beginning of the retreat. The main point that I want to impress on you is that perhaps the Lord would ask you to do something similar. To go through the place of sacrifice and give Him all, even the good, so you can cross over. Then repent of your sins (washing in the Blood of Jesus Christ) and give Him all your pain and suffering, walking through the filter of His Blood. Come out on the other side to a new a fresh anointing.

 

Then realize the Lord is speaking of entering a new season of Personal healing and personal attendants from the Lord, so that we as children of the King may receive the bounty He has for us. Amen.

I will be going to minister in Ohio for a few days and then on to spend a few weeks with my daughter in Michigan. She has twins that are not yet 2 years old and will soon have another set of twins, so she needs some help. Then on the way back in October I will minister in the Bible School and in the Church in Ohio. I will return home in time for my other daughter to have her baby, which is due mid-November.
