I am typing this just a couple of hours before boarding the plane to go to Paris. Some of you know that on this trip in particular finances have been a challenge, to say the least. I did not receive the funds to purchase the ticket until late last night. But standing fast in faith works. God is faithful.

 

I have such a good feeling about this trip and the authority of what the Lord is about to do. Please keep it in prayer as the Lord is about to do something in the earth and we want to be a part of it.

 

I want to share some teaching with you that came from preparation for this trip. I believe it will encourage you and is shorter than usual. Please make the time to not only read this but take it to be your own.

 

While I was here in the Dallas area just before leaving for France I went to a Dutch Sheets Seminar that was well worth the time. He said just a few words about our authority and governing for the Lord that struck a cord in my heart and then the Lord downloaded more to me about it.

 

On this trip I come against a great enemy. So? This enemy has come hard against me. So? We must and can govern for God on this earth – Now!. Rev. 5:10 (The Lord) has made us kings and priests to our God and we shall reign on the earth.

 

We are kings under the King of Kings and we Radah or rule for God. Psalms 8:6 paraphrased says, we have the dominion over all rule and authority; over everything in the earth and on the earth. It is time for us to Govern for God but only as He says to do it.

 

1 Thes. 2:18 Paul tried to come (to me it seems to be inferred where the Lord told him to go) but Satan hindered him (or stopped him). He was sent, it was God’s will but he didn’t make it. The same type of things are referenced in Romans 1:3 and Romans 15:22.

 

Okay Satan can hinder us, but can he stop us from doing what the Lord has truly told us to do? Yes! If we let him. We must govern for God by His authority and command; and press through that interference.

 

My tickets being very last minute was very uncomfortable but the Lord showed me that allowing my faith to be pushed until the last minute, without complaining or losing faith, gives me greater power over THAT enemy because now my faith against them is a tested proven faith that will stand firm. No it’s not fun but the results are well worth it.

 

Many years ago, like 36, the Lord showed me that when He says, “I love you.” It solves everything and is the only answer we really need because everything flows from that. Today many years later He still says, “My love solves everything and is everything you need; to you, through you and for you.”

 

When I pray for someone and their not healed or delivered often then the love of God manifests and they are. It lets me know that no matter how things look He cares and His word is amen. When the enemy is huge and I’m assigned to take him out but instead I feel like a wimp. It’s the Love of God manifesting through me that pushes worship like a light beam to the throne – piercing the darkness and releasing the Lord to do the real fighting in the battle. My warfare was to break through in true heart worship and release the Lord’s hand.

 

How do we govern and wield authority – in knowing Him in His great love for us so personally and so intimately and so continually that nothing can stop the continual circulatory system of love between God and us through Jesus.

 

To have God’s full authority we must completely lose our authority. But not just lose and have none, but lose it in exchange for His authority and will. It is not good to be so empty any demon finds a for rent sign on your temple door. (You are the temple of God.)

 

But we need to kick out flesh and self will and immediately let God’s will and way inhabit that same spot in us; His control and dominion. And please make sure you feed Him well, through love relationship and the Word, so He’ll want to stay around. It’s not enough to lose control, though we surely must. We have a lot of out of control Christians but then we must let Him fill and control us continually.

 

We don’t want it to be like a steering wheel being jerked all over the road causing the danger of a serious crash because more than one person wants to drive. Because really one moment we give the wheel to Him and the next we want to take it back and go somewhere that we want to go. But keep it in His capable hands, firm and secure in His control.

 

How do we get the touch of His hand, very little by seeking His hand that’s for sure, or by seeking what He can do for us. But when we seek His face, we seek who He is and love who He really is and love to discover who He is, then His hand will assuredly follow.

 

If you are like me sometimes, there is a big tug of war for control. You want to give it all to God but your own hand fights against you. How very frustrating that is. Well not really. I just have to give Him control. Huh! That is what I am trying to do that I can’t. Of course, you can’t. Give it to Him (that’s your legal choice in spite of what you feel) – He can. Thes. 5:23-24

 

Only Jesus can really conquer your flesh. We just usually succeed in hiding it and then it sneaks up on us again and hurts us. Romans 7:24-25 O Wretched man that I am who will deliver me from this body of Death (my flesh that fights against me). I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. We can’t but He can and will.

 

Stop trying to do His job for Him. Give Him the controls and just love Him. Does that mean you don’t need the Word or prayer? How silly that would be, never to eat or communicate with the Lover of your Soul. Give me a break. But we still must take the controls out of our hands and put them in His. Then as He guides us through and directs us – just do what He says with His strength.

 

Vassal kings do what the King of Kings dictates. It’s easy to take authority when you’re speaking and ruling for Him. A policeman has the right to arrest you not just because of his badge but because of what is backing that badge, the government. We have the government of Jesus Christ behind what we do and the devil knows it. He just hopes we never figure it out.

 

It doesn’t work if we do our own thing but it works when we in love yield control to the Lord’s authority, will and government through us. When a 4 year old tells you to do something you laugh, but when he says, “my Dad the King said do this.” We listen. Then even the enemy “has to” obey.

Submission and Dominion

These must flow together, otherwise we get hurt. James 4:7 Submit to God (then) resist the devil and he will flee from you. Praise God.

 

A hand in a glove. Jesus is the hand and we are the glove. Who’s in charge, the hand or the glove? The hand is. Without the hand the glove can do nothing. The more the glove clings to and submits to the hand, like a surgeons glove, the more refined the work that can be done. No one thinks the glove of the surgeon did awesome things, but the surgeon – His hand did awesome things. Be filled with His hand… by seeking His heart.

 

You can stand and walk in the government of God. It is not a democracy, it is a kingdom and we are kings under the King of Kings. Find out what He is saying in any situation (through the Word or revelation) and then decree that with the authority of a king and the authority of the King of Kings will back it up. The enemy may push you to see if you really know and believe it but just stand firm like the policeman of heaven and throw that enemy in jail.
