From India
Because I do not have a computer of my own now I will have to
keep this report short. 4 days of travel to Eluru in Andrea Pradesh.
Leaving home March 21st 10am and arriving March 24th around 6pm. The
heat there is extreme but so was the anointing. Sometimes in
ministering to what seems like an endless line the sweat was so much
I could no longer see because of all the sweat in my eyes, my
clothes were often drenched and my feet, hands and face swollen. But
the people are wonderfully healed and delivered. It is not much to
give when the Lord is giving and doing so much.
In one small village where most of the walls of the homes and the
church was made of palm fronds and roofs were thatched, the power of
God flowed but only after we stopped the music that was mainly on
tribal drums. In some instance drums are fine but some how in this
instance it stopped the anointing. As always in most meetings I had
to tell people hard things, this could make the interpreters very
nervous. One man I told he was violent and needed to repent, another
that he had a spirit of lust, there was also those who had murder or
hatred but they always admitted it and were wonderfully delivered.
Then there faces would light up like a candle as they felt that
terrible load lifted.
Many people called relatives to travel just to be with me a few
minutes because they new the Lord was with us. Often when praying
for people they would say just bless them but I couldn’t put my hand
on without feeling the need and drawing on the anointing. Several
Hindus came in to be prayed for from time to time. The Love of God
manifests to them so that they receive the Lord. One sweet old man
wept when he saw the Lord’s tears of love on my face. It changed his
life. It was an amazing thing to see. It is the Love of God
manifesting that is meeting people at their need
One young Bible School student had a torn soul, almost completely
split in two. The Lord showed me that when he was small he almost
died from falling. His family was there and said yes he had fallen
from a roof at the age of six and almost died. Somehow this cause
his spirit to split but the Lord wonderfully restored him. He is a
fine young man and God will do good things with him.
We had a special church service and festival to celebrate the
Pastor’s son’s first bite of solid food which I was allowed to give
him. We redeemed the church property of an area they were having
trouble. Because of the ways the laws are written a person can come
and inhabit your house if you are not there, when you prove it is
your land they do not have to leave until it goes to court. Court
can take years to resolve this issue. If this person bribes the
court to take a long time and the length of time is longer than 6
years this person then owns the land legally because they have lived
there 6 years. So there was a great battle in the spirit to protect
their land. Redeeming this land the enemy was trying to steal made
the enemy so angry that he physically pushed the Pastor’s dad (a
retired pastor) and caused him to hurt his head.
This retired pastor and his wife are so loving and sweet. I am
amazed. He had a vision of me before I came and the Lord told him to
accept me as a daughter. So he bought me a lovely gold ring to prove
to me I am his daughter now and I will always have a home with them.
I can’t tell you how much that meant to me. I will keep this ring
always. Praise God for giving me family in the remote places of the
earth.
I will not go into details of the battle but it had to do with
what the Lord called the Midnight Sun. Jesus is the Morning Sun but
this midnight sun I had never heard of. It produces darkness instead
of light and seems to be linked to a prophet here that is a Muslim
they believe to be one of their gods reincarnate. It is a big battle
and will take much more than a little visit.
So many saved, healed, filled with the Holy Spirit and delivered
it is hard to keep track of it. From grass huts to conferences to
crusades the Lord moved powerfully. In one crusade we had 1100 or
more people. At least a couple of hundred (between the two sessions)
got saved. Praise God. Almost every single person wanted prayer for
healing (that’s well over a 1000). Many would actually come and say
I am demon possessed help me. In one meeting a girl who was born
deaf and dumb could now hear and repeat syllables. Praise God. So
many people for one person to pray for in one session but the Lord
did it. After praying for 5-6 hours I can’t think of even one person
who wasn’t healed. I know the unity of your prayers with me and the
Lord’s mighty hand has done these awesome things.
In the evening they didn’t want to let me leave and even
surrounded the car and tried to force their way in. They are hungry
for a touch from God. One healing stands out of the many blind eyes
(one stone blind), deaf ears, hearts, TB, etc. Several stroke
victims were healed. One man was paralyzed on his left side. Later I
saw him trying to pick up a big rock with one hand and finally
lifted it over his head. He ran to the platform to testify that he
was healed. We always had them check their healing. So many amazing
things. Perhaps I will share more later. I always try to pray for
the pastors, their family and leaders. We had one Pastor’s meeting
there and was able to speak some things into the pastor’s lives.
That was precious. God was awesome and I am grateful.
In one tribal village of the Lombarti the people were extremely
primitive, living in mud huts. Everything was extremely demonic. We
saw some strange sites there, like the incarnate monkey god with his
long rope tail sticking straight out and the tribals with their
vests of mirrored glass and strange ankle bracelets and demonic
symbols. But still god moved and they need to know God as well. It
was in one of these meetings that I was given a child to keep as a
servant, a bit of a shock to say the least. He was about 10 years
old. I thanked them but let them know no matter how much they
insisted the government would never let him on the plane.
On the plane to North India I heard the voice of an old black
tribal man telling me that I must guard the visions of my heart and
make sure they always include the poor of the earth, who often
receive with such simplicity and love that it is better to minister
to them than intellectuals. When I tried to explain how hard it was
on me physically, he simply told me to trust God for that. I have
asked the Lord to guard the visions of my heart to include the
poor.
In North India in Kalimpong, we had the first Pastor’s
Conference. It went well. We had on average about 200. Some are
pastors, some Bible School students and others as well. They were
really blessed with the teachings and the Lord is also pouring out
his anointing mightily. Many have gotten delivered. The last night
the enemy sent someone on assignment to stop us. All of the leaders
felt it and knew it was true. Praying was hard. I got the word to
those in charge to pray. Finally I was praying for one Presbyterian
Pastor who was mightily touched by God, when a young woman went
ballistic. She was all over the room. She began to hit the pastor
who was on the floor. The leaders couldn’t contain her.
I took authority over that demon as Jesus did in the Bible. I
told them this meeting belongs to Jesus Christ and it would not
disrupt it. I commanded it to stop. She calmed enough and I had them
bring her to me as I sat on the floor, there I held her binding the
demon from disrupting. Then the Lord had me forgive her for being so
used by the devil to come hurt us and by being a tool of Satan. Then
she was delivered. Praise God. There were other deliverances after
that – I
won’t get into details but the meeting came back into the hands of
the Lord and ended in intense sweet love. Praise God.
From there I went to Darjeeling where they have an extreme water
shortage. They haul water from the mountains in large containers and
people then rush into the streets and fill any container they can.
With a city of hundreds of thousands that is a serious problem. I
ministered in Pastor John Mangratee’s church. A dear young pastor
that I enjoyed working with. The Lord moved well there. His mother
is also a powerful warrior. I was able to minister to their family
and encourage them. I was also able to visit with my dear beloved
ones Pastor and Mrs. Gisshing.
The on to visit my wonderful friends in Mungpoo, Pastor Edmond
and his dear wife Bonita. Let it be said of this man he is a true
worshiper, that says it all. We had a lovely meeting where quite a
few got saved and touched by God. It was really special. Then after
ministering to the family came back to Kalimpong.
We had a wonderful conference in Gantok. I will keep this short
but so many saved, healed and delivered and so many stories I could
tell. Even on person who stutters was healed of stuttering. Every
morning more and more people from the Presbyterian church would be
waiting for prayer and ministry before I went out. They were so
touched and what a witness to them it was. So many dear friends
there, how good God is to give me such precious friends.
Bhutan - Last year we sort of sneaked across the border and
prayed for the decision their court was going to make on how to
handle Christians. The entire incident has gone in favor of the
Christians. This is very important. Praise God. So many praise
reports and answers to spiritual warfare.
1. Sikkim – an area where Christians were restricted, pastor’s had to
pre-submit sermons for approval and were followed. Now has been
given a prayer mountain and the opportunity to build a huge monument
to the Lord at government expense. Keep these in prayer because
there are still some battles. I challenge you to keep this in
prayer.
2. Darjeeling – A cruel politician that some years
before had caused a massacre of the Christians and was heading that
way again – now is persecuting the Buddhists and ignoring the
Christians. The people are confused but we Praise God.
3. Lava – We prayed over this area from Tiffin – now where there were
no Christians at all and the Buddhists were extremists – they are building a
church.
4. Bhutan – Last year we sneaked across the border so to speak with the
help of my dear friend Bro. Gamso, supposedly just to have a special
Bhutanese breakfast but we went straight to the Buddhist temple to
pray over the area. The royalty was about to take a vote that would
decide if Christians would be persecuted or tolerated. NOW
– this
has been kicked out of the Royal Court by the king. Christians will
be tolerated if they do not openly evangelize – even for the first
time allowing church. Two young men were arrested for showing the
Jesus movie. Normally they would be killed or beaten but the courts
did not know what to do with them because of this new ruling. So
they are just held where they are – there they are evangelizing the prison
and many are coming to Christ. Praise God. Please pray for these two
men. What they do with them will set a precedent.
5. Dr. Grahams School – Last year had a problem with children
becoming demon possessed and threatening other children with a deep
male voice. Since we prayed – no more trouble.
And the list goes on and on. Even in homes that were redeemed
where there was constant sickness and fear – they are now well
and have no fear praise God. The RSS and other radical Hindu groups
have shut down several crusades taking the microphone away and
having the foreign speaker arrested and removed from the country
never able to return. That is why prayer protection is
important.
The borders of Nepal have closed because of internal violence of
the Maoist, many have been killed in the last few weeks. But I was
able to go for one day only. I had a lot of trouble at the border
and spiritual battles as well but they really needed this
encouragement and refreshing.
BHUTAN
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS. You have no idea how thick the
enemy can be until you go to Bhutan. I got sick with vomiting and
diarrhea the moment I came to the border and stayed sick until I
returned. Then it lifted like a great cloud. It was a spiritual
attack.
Physically Bhutan is beautiful. Tall mountains covered with thick
jungle, many huge waterfalls and lots of animals. I got to see
several monkeys and a small black squirrel; also an animal that is
the country symbol called a Taken. It is supposed to be demonically
created as a cross between a goat and a cow.
In Bhutan it is like communist Russia. No mentioning Jesus at all
or you can be kicked out of the country, a guide must be with you at
all times. You cannot go on your own, Very restricted. But some of
the guides were Christians and helped us meet with other Christians.
There are 2 believers in jail now, so the situation is tense and I
was asked not to go to the only larger church. They cannot have a
church building but can meet in homes or rented halls.
In a small house group I ministered, then in a man came in. It
had been going well but when he came it was like a cold demonic
spirit blew through the place. I was told to announce that I was
meeting with Christian friends only and that I was not trying to
convert any others. He was a spy for the government, who came in to
curse us but we prayed and continued and the Lord blessed.
I did not have the money to go to Bhutan but amazingly the people
of North Sikkim gave enough offerings for me to go and the travel
agent in Bhutan was so blessed with my ministry that she returned
most of the money to me. I still need funds for the Philippines but
what miracles God has already wrought.
On the border so many saved healed and delivered. One story about
that only. They brought me a teenage girl about 15. She could only
rock back and forth and mutter nonsense. She could not look at you
or talk to you or do anything for herself.
As I began to pray for her the Lord said do not touch her head
that is where the demon is. The Little Girl is asleep deep inside.
She shut down and went to sleep at about age 10 when the demon came
because she could not cope with the constant attack. So I began to
talk to her gut. Little girl wake up - I need you to wake up and
fight so we can win this battle for you.
No, she would say by her spirit inside. I have tried and I'm
scared - leave me alone. But I kept on. Finally she said (from deep
inside by the spirit) can you really help me?? Yes I said. Come wake
up though or I need your help to do it.
She said, Okay. Then only deliverance started and it was quite a
battle. She threw up and calmed down but I knew the demon was not
gone but playing dead. Still I helped her and prayed, then finally I
saw a big slimy thing in the spirit ooze out of her head and she
threw up again.
We washed her face and I talked with her. She said - Thank you -
smiling so big. She said she felt well and was very happy and began
to jump up and down for joy. She spoke good English, which she
learned in school before this demon came on her. She had this demon
since she was 10 and she had it for 5 years. She is now like a
normal 10 year old and will begin to develop from the stage she went
to sleep inside. She was so very happy as was her mom. Praise God
for His Amazing Grace.
I am back in Kalimpong and have been ministering in some churches
here and redeeming the land in areas. I am just about to go to
Siliguri and then on to Delhi and from there to the Philippines.
Please keep praying.
It seems I am getting dangerously famous a bit. Well known people
who come and have crusades are often kicked out of the country at
gun point and forbidden to return, often with a big riot. While I
was in Gantok (so many healed and delivered, even one person healed
of stuttering and I have been told that even after these many days
since I left the area still no stuttering) The CIA of India came
asking questions of who I was and why I was teaching. At the same
time in Kalimpong the CIA was asking my friends here the same
questions about me. When I came back across the border from Bhutan I
was told. We know you - you are the teacher from Kalimpong. This is
dangerous to say the least. The RSS (Hindu fanatic sect - target
people like this). Please pray they will lose interest in me and
leave me alone. I myself really believe it will blow over without
incident.
Thank you for your prayers so much. I can't tell you how much I
have needed them and how much they have accomplished. I am so glad I
am finally getting to send a newsletter. Please contact me. In the
Philippines I will be able to check emails a bit more often. Thank
you again. You really are making a difference.
